Bosnian Backwoods
Setting out from Tusila we headed upwards, as usual! We passed views of incredible beauty, the vast and uninhabited Bosnian mountains stretching into the distance.

At one point in the middle of the forest we passed a tiny concrete building riddled with bullet holes on one side. Someone had fought for their life here.
We stopped for an early lunch and try repair a puncture before heading back upwards again. Our reward came eventually with 20km of flowing downhill.

Reaching the bottom of the mountain, the sky turned black. We took shelter from the thunderstorm under the awning of an old house before moving on again.

Reaching a petrol station to refuel on nuts we found two other bicycle travellers, who ended up at the same accomodation as us – a river rafting camp – where we exchanged stories long into the night over a beer or two.
