Wheel be back
After a brief return to the UK it’s time to get back in the saddle. It feels more like starting all over again rather than the second half.
The alarm went off at 1am. First a taxi, then a bus, flight, airport transfer and I was back at the shop I left my bike in.
Fully serviced and all in good order, I got the legs spinning again. The ride today was no more than a swift road cycle back to Postojna, where I’m staying in a cheap hotel that has both a micro brewery and an aquarium. Strange combination.
Tomorrow might be a little problematic. There are weather warnings for heavy and persistent rain literally all day. It might be a case of just getting my head down and bashing the miles out. A long soaking is inevitable.
